Srinagar, Jun 15 (KNO): A mega screening camp for congenital heart disease upto 18 years of age will be held at Government Children Hospital Bemina Srinagar on 24 June.
Rotary International has written to Director Coordination New Government Medical College, Nursing and Paramedical Colleges J&K in this regard and informed him that after screening free of cost heart surgeries will be performed in the notified hospitals of Rotary International.
"Rotary Club Rajouri (Rotary International District 3070) is organising Screening Camp for Congenital Heart Disease upto 18 years of age on 24th June 2023 at Govt Children Hospital Bemina Srinagar GMC Srinagar In this camp after the Screening the Heart Surgeries Shall be performed free of cost in the Notified Hospitals of the Rotary International in the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Researches Kochi Kerala," reads the official Communique, a copy of which lies with news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
"You are requested to direct all the Institutions across the UT of J&K to inform and register such needy cases and send the list on or before 20th June by 5 PM on the mobile no. and EMail here. Furthermore, your outstanding Contributions in the other one in GB Panth Hospital Srinagar past as MD NHM J&K are on record when these two camps were held earlier, one in Jammu Gandhi Nagar Hospital and another GB pant hospital Srinagar," it reads further.
As per communique, the documents required include Echo (less than 03 months old), BPL Ration Card/Low Income Certificate From Tehsildar, two photographs of Child and Aadhar card—(KNO)
